TSA screenings are becoming more and more invasive making pet travel a real hassle. The inspection process consist of removing your pet dog or cat from their soft carrier bag and walking them through the metal detectors, while the carrier goes through the x-ray machine. Current laws and TSA official require your pet to be on a leash and harness which often sets off the metal detectors causing traveling pet owners to be subjected to an even more invasive screening process. This can mean pat downs, hand wands or private screening rooms. Get the TSA Fast Pass® Leash & Harness and your pet will make it through the TSA inspection in a single bound, making pet airline travel hassle free.

I haven't used it yet, but I am trying to get my cats used to it so I can bring them on a plane in a couple of weeks.

I ordered the TSA harness for my cat not for air travel, but for walking her through the hills near my apartment...just to give her some outside time.
The harness came quickly and seems very well made. However the smallest size turned out to be a fair bit too large for my cat. Dry Fur responded immediately to my call and the exchanges were open and helpful.
I decided to keep the harness and make adjustments to the size myself. I simply added more closure so the chest rap around. It works well and still seems non binding to her. She might be able to Houdini her way out, but not easily and that may be because the fit was off in the first place.
I give 5 Stars.

It seems like this harness will come in handy with my cat on our cross country voyage next week. It's very well made and comes with a name tag.
I don't know why, but whenever I put the harness on my cat, she immediately flops down on the ground, or she will start walking backwards. It seems like she can't walk properly while in the harness. I don't know if it's because the harness may be too tight (the harness has some give and I can stick my fingers underneath the harness) and she can't walk forward properly, or what. It'll come in handy though if she tries to escape at the airport (she is VERY timid).
RESPONSE: this is a normal CAT reaction when first wearing a harness or any pet clothes... But given time and short sessions of putting on taking off she eventually will get used to it. But for keeping her under control at the airport it will help with that. It took me about 2 years to harness train my first cat and her little sister it took only a few months since she followed my older cats lead. But both of them flopped over like they could not walk for many weeks. But now I can put anything on them even little T-Shirts, dresses, tank top etc. and they don't miss a beat... they still run play and take naps with them on. So try not to get discourage this is totally normal.

That's the honest truth...not a negative comment!
RESPONSE:
I see many vendors sell pet harnesses. And I did see a few dog harnesses at Walmart.com that sold for $10.00 But once you pay their shipping fee of $6.00 and for a leash you are above our purchase price of $19.99 because ours includes a leash and ships for free! And if you look closely ours is a custom fit pattern not a mass produced one. Please feel free and purchase a Walmart Harness and put the harnesses on your pet side by side you will see the difference in the way it fits, I promise. And ours is the only harness on the market designed for easier TSA Screenings. All other harnesses have heavy metal attachments which can cause issues. Good luck with that Walmart Harness!

Snap on leash is very hard to work.

I've ordered a small for my boy when he was a kitten he soon grew out of it. It is his favorite harness so when I came back to find MD was out of stock I was very sad. But I ordered one right away and can't wait to get it!

I am impressed with this harness/leash for several reasons:
It is easy to use; is secure once on - does not bind our cat and it was an excellent price; also impressed with how quickly we received the item after ordering.

I just recieved my harness today.... please keep in mind these are for very small dogs/pets. I have a 15lb mini weenie dog... well hes a little on the tweenie side... but i ordered a large and its tight on him. We will make it work though so we have no issues with security. Its made very well and i dont doubt it will be a big help in making traveling easier. Also VERY VERY fast shipping. Ordered on a Saturday evening and arrived monday morning. Regular flat rate.
