With this kit, a power drill, and DryFur's instructions on crate modification, we were able to modify the crate we had purchased in order to make it acceptable for United (who no longer accept crates with just 4 bolts). The only thing I wish were included would be more plain cable-ties for securing snap latches - we ended up using some we had around the house. These aren't required by the airline, but they did make me feel more comfortable about the security of the carrier. We really did not need the shipper's declaration sticker (United made us fill out theirs), the temporary pet id, or the document storage (United affixed their own pouch containing the vet records and travel information to the carrier). I didn't think I would use the dry food storage bag, but it turned out handy for ensuring my cat had enough food with him to last until I could get more at the destination. Overall, this is a great kit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to fly a pet in cargo.

I purchased seven of these kits to us with crates for my dogs to travel cross country. I purchased seven crates from Petsmart as well, 3 x-small, 3 small, and 1 medium crate. I ordered 6 small kits and one medium kit. The stickers all fit except for one which had to be trimed to fit on the crates. The hardware however, was were I had an issue. Since my crates were x-small I assumed the small kit would have enough nuts and bolts. I was three short on all of the x-small crates, seven short on the small, and I had one extra left over on the medium crate. I ordered four extra sets of bolts and all is good.

At first I was so worried about my pet travelling on air cause I knew its not gonna be easy since lots of preparations going from one agency to the next to complete the requirements. When I got the crate for my dog I immediately look for a sticker that says "LIVE ANIMAL" and this is what I found, a complete set. Made my preparation and travel easier! Thanks..Fast Shipping..

I was surprised that none of the pet supply stores in our city had the products we needed to fly our dog safely in cargo. But we got all we needed in this kit. This is by far the best site to find animal travel supplies and information. And ... I ordered on line on a Friday evening and received my package on Monday!! Wow that's fast.

This kit was shipped USPS 2-3 day. Made it to Hawaii quick ordered Friday night came Monday to Kauai. Had all the things I needed as the carriers sold in Kauai stores do not come with bowls. I also feared our tiny airport would not have require stickers. This included everything I needed. Also, came with LOTS of extra nuts and bolts. My dog is now ready to travel to Dallas. Mahalo. I am very happy to have found this kit, it has everything I need for my dog's air travel, and I especially appreciate the detailed instruction checklist. It would have taken a lot of research trying to obtain individual items on the list, I appreciate that someone has put this together and saved a lot of headache to pet owners in this already nerve-wrecking process of flying our pets as cargo!

This kit is amazing! I ordered 4 for our move to Hawaii. Each kit came in 2 days, with everything needed to send them on the plane. My only displeasure was that there were not enough wing nuts for all of the bolts. An easy fix with a run to Lowes. The kits made our move so easy and smooth, and much less stressful for me! The company even included a few free extras for us :) I will definitely be purchasing from DryFur again for our move from the island. And for when we ship puppies. I have already recommended these kits to my friends and our partnered breeders. PLEASE NOTE: I am Sorry this does confuse many buyers...our kits and hardware all come with way more bolts than nuts. The bolts come in 3 different Lengths to insure we have included the right size for your particular kennel. So you will end up with more bolts but the exact amount of Nuts listed. So be sure to sort the bolts then test to see which fits best. The leftovers you can toss or use for another purpose.

We liked the kit ~ made us feel better about sending our dog ~ he arrived just fine. We did freeze water in one of the connecting feeders ~ but then the little plastic thing broke off as we tried to snap it into the cage ~ also we filled it too full and the ice expands ~ so we refroze some water in the same feeder & popped it out & put it in the other feeder which allowed us to connect it to the cage without breaking.
